About the Role

Are you an experienced IT Procurement Project Lead who thrives on driving large-scale cost savings? This interim role offers the chance to work at the intersection of IT and sourcing, leading a strategic procurement project with a major impact on the energy market and the digital infrastructure of the Netherlands.

What You’ll Do

• Lead a negotiation team in a strategic IT procurement process.

• Analyze contracts and commercial conditions.

• Drive multi-million cost savings through effective strategies.

• Draft and implement procurement strategies.

• Manage stakeholders, including senior leadership and technical experts.

• Report on progress, risks, and savings potential.

Requirements

✅ 5–10 years of experience as a strategic (project) buyer or contract manager.
✅ At least 3 years of experience with IT projects.
✅ Proven track record of multi-million cost savings.
✅ Strong negotiation and analytical skills.
✅ Experience in contract management and stakeholder management.
✅ Proactive, result-oriented, and resilient attitude.
✅ IT background, preferably in a (project) management role.
✅ Experience in the energy sector is an advantage.
