About the Role

Hello Test Engineer!
Do you want to work at the heart of the energy transition? You’ll help shape the future of the Dutch energy system by ensuring the reliability of digital solutions that power the energy market.

As a Test Engineer, you’ll play a key role in delivering error-free software that enables a stable and sustainable energy infrastructure. You’ll work in a DevOps team, developing test approaches, automating test scenarios, and integrating them into CI/CD pipelines — ensuring software quality that directly impacts the national power grid.

Your Impact

• Work on software that directly contributes to a more sustainable Netherlands.

• Apply test automation using tools such as Cypress, PlayWright, and RobotFramework.

• Monitor and improve software quality from the start of the development process.

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary Scrum teams.

• Share and grow knowledge through a Test Community of Practice.

• Continuously improve testing processes, techniques, and team quality.

• Coach colleagues and help elevate test maturity within the organization.

What You Bring

✅ Higher professional education (HBO) level in IT or equivalent experience
✅ Experience with test automation and tools like Cypress, PlayWright
✅ Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and modern agile testing
✅ Familiarity with BDD/TDD, Agile/Scrum, or DevOps environments
✅ Fluent Dutch communication skills (spoken and written)
✅ Willingness to work on-site in Amersfoort at least 2 days per week
💡 Bonus points if you have:

• Certification in TMAP, ISTQB, or Agile Tester

• Experience with SAFe frameworks

• Background in the energy sector
